Here’s a loose retelling of events that occurred in the month of February 2018.
Hi there,
Welcome to the month of March. We’re 8 days in but it’s never too late to say welcome. Trust we’ve been good?
I apologize for the unintentional hiatus. Did anyone even notice my absence?
Anyway, I’ve decided to pop in real quick just to confirm I’m still alive and interested in my readers.
What went down in February 2018?
Here’s a brief life recap;
Albeit, February has 28 days it pretty much dragged. I had a pretty basic month if you ask me.
Eat, Sleep, Blog, Repeat that was definitely the motto.
I managed to drag myself out to Social Media Week #Smwlagos2018 even though it was just for a day but I’m glad I did. Mingling with fellow Content creators, the interactive sessions and of course relaxing ambience made it all worth it.
If you reside in Lagos and are a Social Media enthusiast yet you couldn’t make it to Social Media Week Lagos 2018 you should totally start making plans for next year’s.
Follow them on Instagram @smwlagos for updates and other related stuff.
Trust me it’s a worthwhile event! This is not just hype.

My favourite session of the day was the one organized by #AboutThatCurvyLife. The speakers touched on Body Shaming and how it is rapidly increasing on Social Media.
Major lesson learnt – Love your body as it is, don’t let what some random person on the internet says about your God-given body get you down or make you feel insecure.

In the month of February, I also binged watch all 10 episodes of “Everything Sucks” – a Netflix TV series set in the 90s. If you love the 90s or just searching for an interesting drama series this is definitely for you.
There’s also a ton of 90s Style Inspiration for the one who loves Vintage fashion.
I fell ill and had an emotional relapse. Your girl’s been struggling ever since. There’s a ton of posts in my drafts waiting to be published but Y’all gotta bear with me.
